How Dayanara Torres and Marc Anthony’s Son Ryan, 22, Looks With Tattoos and No Glasses
The youngest son of the Latin singer and the former Miss Universe contestant just celebrated a birthday and shocked fans with a surprising new look.
It's hard to believe how fast time has flown. Ryan Muñiz, the son of Dayanara Torres and Marc Anthony, recently turned 22. Having grown up in the public eye, he's traded his once-reserved style and trademark glasses for a bolder look, now sporting long hair and visible tattoos.

Though his parents split up many years ago, he and his older brother, Cristian Muñiz, have remained in the spotlight, especially because of their resemblance to their famous father and their close bond with their mother.

Not a Kid Anymore
Growing up, Ryan and his older brother, Cristian, were often talked about by the public due to their famous parents. However, while they occasionally appeared at events with their mother and even at award shows with Marc, they generally led a private life.

Although many people remember Ryan as a young child, more than two decades have passed since photos of him as a baby surfaced, and he is now an adult.

A New Look That's Making a Splash on Social Media
In 2023, he was seen alongside the Latin singer and Cristian at the unveiling ceremony for his father's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was already sporting visible hand tattoos at the time.

However, that was a special occasion. Personally, Ryan wasn't too active on social media. He posted a photo of himself in December 2023. Then, in October 2024, he uploaded again, showing photos from a trip to Rome, where he visited the Colosseum and other iconic landmarks.
There were no other posts for nearly a year until August 2025, when he resurfaced with a series of images that revealed a radical new look. This time, the young man sported long, curly hair, dark sunglasses, baggy streetwear, and multiple tattoos on his arms and hands.
Comments on his Instagram comments section were quick to point out how much he had changed and, especially, how identical he looks to Marc Anthony.
Many highlighted his attractiveness with phrases like "So handsome ❤️" or "Wow. So handsome." With a calm gaze from his light-colored eyes and a combination of his parents' features, he is certainly a good-looking young man.

Meanwhile, other netizens highlighted Dayanara's role in his appearance. One person wrote, "Thank Goodness for Mom's DNA, they are beautiful 😻."

Several pointed out the mix of qualities Ryan inherited from both his parents. "That young man won the genetic lottery. He got the best of the best from his parents in looks and talent," opined another person.
The comments weren't all praise; some were more gushing, like one person who wrote, "He is beautiful 🔥." Others, however, expressed criticism of his style. "You're only 21 and just beginning your life. So handsome, but already all tatted up 🤷♂️ what a shame," someone commented.
His Mother's Birthday Post
On August 16, 2025, Ryan celebrated his birthday at a Miami nightclub, joined by Dayanara, his girlfriend Hannah Juliana, and a few family members, such as his cousin, Andrea Alvarez.

Dayanara shared a video of the celebration on social media and took the opportunity to dedicate some heartfelt words to her son. "Every birthday is special, but this one feels different... now I'm enjoying a new era as a mom, where I can share with him not only a mother's love, but also with the bond of friendship," the proud mom wrote in the caption.

"I love that we can go out together, laugh, dance, share a beer, and discover that his company, now as an adult, is one of my greatest gifts. Thank you, Ryan, for making this period so special," she added.
The Resemblance to Marc Anthony
Over the years, Ryan has been inevitably compared to his father, having inherited many of his physical features, especially from the Latin singer's youth.

A 2024 video posted by Ellas Magazine showed him sporting a more formal look than usual. He appeared without his glasses and had his curls loose, instead of his usual cap.

While Cristian also strongly resembles the "Vivir Mi Vida (Live My Life)" singer, Ryan has captured more attention for his style and personality.

Even though Marc was not at the birthday party in Miami, he had given him a special gift months earlier. In February 2025, the singer bought Ryan a car.
It was a Toyota Camry HEV, which sparked a variety of comments on social media. In response to the criticism, radio host Enrique Santos defended the singer, explaining that the vehicle was Ryan's "dream car" and that he had always wanted it.
